The Nebraska Book Source Catalog

To download our current catalog, click here (requires Acrobat Reader, best printed on legal size paper).

The Nebraska Book Source is our annual book catalog featuring titles from publishers across the Great Plains. Designed primarily for the education-and-library market, the catalog reaches over 1,200 Nebraska libraries, media centers, educators, and other potential buyers through our fall Cooperative Mailing and cooperative Book Displays at regional trade shows—both of which are organized under our IPAC (Independent Publishers & Authors Cooperative) division.

The Nebraska Book Source catalog stands out from the crowd by including:

A signature trim size of 7 inches wide by 8.5 inches tall, markedly different from other catalogs.

Eye-catching graphics on the cover, featuring a subject easily identifiable with Nebraska and the Great Plains.

Quality typesetting and printing on recycled paper, making the catalog pleasant to read and handle.

Book Placement

Publishers and self-publishers who wish to market their books to Nebraska schools and libraries are welcome to place their books in the Nebraska Book Source catalog.

We maintain a small inventory of these books, or will order books at need, and fulfill catalog orders for a 40% discount off the cover price and a small registration fee per book. Payment on sales is made to the publisher quarterly or annually, depending on sales volume. Placement includes descriptive text up to 60 words and a choice of genre under which to list the book. The book title and author, publisher name, page count, trim size, binding, illustrations, front/back-matter information (photos, maps, index, etc.), and price are also included and will be formatted according to our standard (see an example catalog page here). A thumbnail cover image, approximately .75 to 1 inch wide depending on design needs, may be added for an additional fee.

The registration and materials deadline for inclusion in the upcoming catalog is August 1. For more information, please download our Marketing Services Registration Form (requires Acrobat Reader) or contact us if you have questions.

Publishers interested in reaching the Nebraska education-and-library market, and who would prefer to do their own fulfillment, should consider participating in our annual IPAC Cooperative Mailing.

Clients who self-publish with Infusionmedia Publishing have their books included in the catalog at no charge as part of our optional fulfillment service.
